SMILE-FX® / Narrow Smile Guide
Doctor-led care and this guide
SMILE-FX® publishes this educational guide to help you understand a supplied smile-display description and discuss your own priorities with a responsible orthodontist.
Doctor-led care, from planning to follow-up
Your orthodontist connects the options with your assessment and goals. These care capabilities describe SMILE-FX® arrangements; they are separate from the research source used by this guide.
Continuing doctor responsibility
Board-certified orthodontists see every patient, including follow-ups. Dr. Tracy Miao Liang is clinical director.
Full-service digital orthodontics
SMILE-FX® provides digitally driven orthodontics with a clear-aligner focus. Your assessment and goals guide the treatment discussion.
Planning you can discuss
AI-assisted planning and smile previews help explain proposed changes. A preview illustrates an intention, not an achieved result.
Imaging when indicated
Low-dose 3D CBCT is available when clinically indicated for assessment and planning.
Monitoring that supports clinical review
Smartphone/iPhone monitoring is standard with braces and aligner plans. It supports communication and clinical progress review alongside assessment; it is not photo diagnosis.
A route for issue flags
Remote review can flag a broken bracket or an aligner that is not tracking for the clinical team to evaluate.
Provider-support contact access
Contact access is available 24/7. Access is distinct from an immediate reply; response arrangements are confirmed by the team.
Local aligner and retainer options
In-house 3D-printed aligners and same-day aligner/retainer options are available through individual arrangements.
Prescribed course correction and Rescue care
Prescribed course-correction aligners can be shipped to your home. Doctor-led Rescue aligner care after previous treatment is arranged individually.
Custom 3D-printed bracket options
Custom 3D-printed bracket options are manufactured off-site, separately from local aligner and retainer fabrication.
Clear-aligner options prescribed for you
Your orthodontist prescribes the system and wear arrangement from available Invisalign®, OrthoFX®, AirFlex™ and nighttime options.
Included retention and whitening
SMILE-FX® includes fixed/removable retainers plus whitening within its treatment arrangements. Your written proposal confirms the scope and prescribed options for you.
At-home and in-office whitening
At-home and in-office whitening options address a separate colour goal. Individual arrangements and suitability determine which option applies.
Invisalign® is a trademark of Align Technology, Inc. OrthoFX® and AirFlex™ are marks of their respective owner. Product names identify available options, not research evidence.
A conversation about your own findings
Bring the description or goal you want to understand. Your orthodontist explains which options and arrangements apply to your assessed findings, priorities and written proposal.
